Service Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions — DRAFT / OWNER CONFIRMATION REQUIRED

1. Scope of Work

Quotations should identify the agreed scope, specifications, materials, labour, VAT treatment, exclusions, validity period and assumptions. Payment deposits and milestones must be agreed in writing and be reasonable for the project. The full project balance is not automatically due at the quotation stage. Variations and additional charges require written customer approval before extra work, except where urgent action is reasonably required to protect people or property.

2. Payments & Invoicing

The customer must provide safe access and accurate information. Unexpected conditions should be recorded and discussed before scope or price changes. Customers should have an opportunity to inspect completed work and report snagging. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected; remedies are not limited to a blanket 30-day period. Any workmanship warranty applies only if expressly offered in writing.

3. Consumer Rights

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, we guarantee that all work will be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If you are dissatisfied with the work, you have the right to request a remedy, including a repair or replacement, within 30 days of the service being completed.

4. Cancellation & Variation

Cancellation, termination and disputes: cancellation rights depend on the contract type and applicable law. No blanket waiver of consumer rights, automatic deposit forfeiture or disproportionate fee should be used. Liability that cannot legally be excluded remains unaffected. Dispute-resolution details and governing-law wording require UK legal review. Specialist work, including gas, electrical, structural, plumbing and fire-safety work, must be allocated only to appropriately competent or registered professionals where required.
